Nuove proposte da Suzhou

“Se tutto va bene” a partire dal 1/1/2016 (qualcuno dice da Ottobre 2016) potrebbero venire applicate alcune importanti modifiche ai regolamenti del pingpong. A leggere bene i verbali dei meeting svoltisi a Suzhou se ne evidenziano alcuni interessanti, altri audaci.
Ecco la prima proposta fatta all’AGM Annual General Meeting dalla Commissione Atleti presieduta da Vladimir Samsonov.

To amend 2.4.3:
2.4.3 A side of the blade used for striking the ball shall be covered with either ordinary pimpled rubber, with pimples outwards having a total thickness including adhesive of not more than 2.00mm, or sandwich rubber, with pimples inwards or outwards, having a total thickness including adhesive of not more than 4.00mm 4.25mm.
Rationale:
The results of the research and tests show that with the increase in thickness, certain rubber characteristics required by players, like control, speed and spin, might be reached without further interference. This will eventually lead to a decrease in use of boosters and create an even level playing field. With more options, a chance to find equipment that suits individual needs will be higher. With better equipment, players will perform better and the game will be more attractive. Allowing additional thickness will reduce stress during the racket control process. With the introduction of the plastic ball a lot of spin is lost, therefore an increase to 4.25mm will provide “some” compensation.
Morale della favola, vorrebbero innalzare lo spessore della gomma di 0.25 così da compensare le malefatte della pallina di plastica, perché siccome tutti dicono che si dà meno effetto allora con una gomma più spessa almeno se ne dà un po’ di più.
Nella prossima proposta sempre di Samsonov si chiede di aggiungere un paragrafo al discorso del “let” o interruzione dello scambio, mamma mia come è difficile la terminologia pongistica in italiano. Ecco il testo:

To insert new 2.9.1.6:
2.9.1.6 if the ball in play is broken in a way which could affect the outcome of the rally.
Rationale:
To avoid confusion if the ball breaks during the rally.
Ha ragione il testo attuale non indica una situazione di “let” nel caso in cui la palla si rompa durante uno scambio.
Quella dei brasiliani è decisamente eccentrica ma non folle.
Proposed by the Brazil Table Tennis Confederation
To amend the Table Tennis Laws (2.11, 2.12, 2.13) in order to change following principles :
1- The game shall be won by the player first scoring 4 points unless both players score 3 points when the game shall be won by the first play subsequently gaining a lead of 2 points.
2- The set shall be won by the player first scoring 2 or 3 games unless both players score 1 or 2 games, when the game shall be won by the first player subsequently gaining a lead of 2 games.
3- The match shall consist of any odd number of games. (no change)
4-The right to choose the initial order of serving, receiving and ends shall be decided by lot and the winner may choose to serve or to receive first or to start at a particular end. (no change)
5- Each player could serve only once.
6-Under no circumstances a player could serve twice consecutive.
Rationale:
The system as proposed, besides increasing the euphoria of the fans and the motivation of the player should keep the probability of beating the best in the same proportion that exist in the current count.
Insomma una cosa tipo tennis, vinci il game o gioco (se vi piace) se fai 4 punti e vinci il set o partita (sempre se vi piace) se vinci 2 o 3 games, vinci il match o l’incontro (a vostro piacere) più o meno allo stesso modo del sistema attuale.
Ah, dimenticavo, si batte una volta ciascuno.
C’è anche il capitolo del time-out, come si direbbe in italiano? Boh. Comunque se prima il time-out era a totale discrezione del giocatore o dei giocatori (in caso di doppio) nelle gare individuali e del capitano in quelle a squadre, d’ora in poi il capitano conta ancora meno ossia il giocatore o i giocatori decidono il loro time-out strafregarsene del capitano.
Una cosa che mi dà davvero fastidio e l’assenza dal linguaggio ITTF della figura ALLENATORE. Lo chiamano captain / capitano o adviser / consulente, ma allenatore no eh? Mi raccomando.
E arriviamo tedeschi, i sperimentatori. La seguente proposta è stata recapitata al BoD ossia al Board of Directors.
Da allenatore o se vi piace consulente o capitano, devo dire che quello che seguirà mi piace, mi ingrifa come direbbero alcuni perché finalmente si dice basta ai cartellini gialli o rossi e la brutta abitudine di cacciare gli allenatori dalla campo di gara.

To amend 3.5.1.3:
3.5.1.3 Players may receive advice only during the intervals between games or during other authorised suspension of play, and not between the end of practice and the start of a match; if any authorised person gives advice at other times the umpire shall hold up a yellow card to warn him or her that any further such offence will result in his or her dismissal from the playing area. Between rallies persons who are authorised to be at the bench / field of play have the possibility to give verbal and visual coaching instructions.
Rationale:
Connected with the aim to bring more emotion into our sport the German Table Tennis Association (GTTA) started tests of different coaching rules in the highest two league divisions beginning three years ago. The background and the idea of these tests was to create more action and emotions at the field of play during the matches and was born after discussions with different TV experts. Important is that it was not the intension to generate or to support some kind of poor behaviour in the courts but sometimes our sport seems too calm and unemotional. After the test run in the first season we made hundreds of interviews with the involved players and coaches as well as with the spectators of the league matches. As a result of the these interviews we modified the new coaching rule slightly and after two more seasons of testing we passed the rule as proposed in the rules of these leagues permanently as it was a big success. In addition to the already named groups of players, coaches and spectators the umpires made very good experiences with the new coaching rule, too. As they do not have to put their focus on prohibited coaching between the rallies they are able to put even more focus on aspects as the services etc.
Della serie, quando il vostro giocatore vi guarda gli potrete di dire “batti corto sul diritto”, oppure “blocca” “fai la difesa alta” e così via.
Che pacchia che sarà. Ci dovremo munire di un nuovo linguaggio di comunicazione così evitiamo che l’avversario ci capisca. Non vedo l’ora di sperimentarlo.

francamente il sistema di calcolo del punteggio del tennis lo trovo semplicemene perfetto non una questione di copiare o sentirsi una sottospecie di tennis è questione di scegliere la via migliore e se quancuno già la seguva da tempo non mi pare un motivo per non farlo pure noi.
Non mi piace invece il fatto di servire una volta per uno, rende ancora più frammenteato il gioco basterebbe far rispettare in modo adeguato il regolamente del servizio e si potrebbe usare esattamente los tesso sistema di calcolo del punteggio usato nel tennis magari diminuendo il numero di set ma anche quà se si vuole uno sviluppo in termini di sport bisogna allungare le partite così come è ora per chi guarda da fuori spesso il tennistavolo dà più l’idea di un giuoco che do uno sport.
sui materiali io sarei davvero felice che si andasse verso un bel giro di vite meno “seghe ” mentali e più braccio e tecnica in particolare a bassi livelli che poi sono la base su cui si costruisce ogni sport non se ne può più di vedere gommacce trattate e gomme super veloci.
